Welcome to the CBCE (The Center for Biomedical Continuing Education) Confidence-Based Learning™ (CBL) modules. Even if you've completed other online CME/CE coursework in oncology/hematology, your educational experience here will be unique.

Confidence-Based Learning (CBL) modules use the CBL System patented by Knowledge Factor, which enables you to master the curriculum so you can treat your patients correctly and confidently. The CBL System diagnoses your true knowledge - what you actually know versus what you think you know - and identifies where you have doubt or misinformation. It then targets your specific needs through an accelerated learning process, which results in you learning the material with complete confidence and being better able to treat your patients.

Accelerated mastery of the content happens in 4 steps:

  1. Answer Questions. This is a small subset of diagnostic questions to determine what you already know and don't know. If you answer the questions honestly, the learning process will be faster and more effective.
  2. Submit Responses. This takes you into the Learning Center, where your personalized learning plan lives.
  3. Learn. Following your personalized learning plan, you will learn the information in a fashion organized to fill your knowledge and confidence gaps.
  4. Continue. Continue this process until you have learned and mastered all the content.

Getting Started:

  1. Click the “Register” tab at the top of the page to complete the online self-registration form.
  2. Immediately after submitting the self-registration form, a Welcome E-mail will be sent to you with your unique login details including your username and password.
  3. Click the link URL provided in your Welcome E-mail and proceed to the “Log In” tab on the CBCE learning portal to enter your username and password.
  4. Upon logging in, a help window will be displayed for you to review the CBL process.
  5. To begin your coursework, close out of the help window and click “Begin Here”.
